Returns, Warranty & Repairs

We want you to shop with confidence at Havana Sunglasses. This policy outlines your rights and our processes in line with Australian Consumer Law.


Returns Policy

We offer a 30-day return period from the date you receive your order.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Item must be unused and in original condition
  • Item must be in original packaging
  • Proof of purchase is required

Please note: Returns will not be accepted for items that are damaged, worn, or missing parts not due to our error.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within a few business days.

Sale Items

Sale items are not eligible for refunds unless deemed faulty under Australian Consumer Law.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are faulty or unsuitable. To request an exchange, please contact us via email.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

We will cover shipping costs for replacement items where applicable.

For returns over $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.


Warranty Claims

All products come with a supplier-backed limited warranty covering manufacturing defects.

Examples of manufacturing defects include:

  • Lens delamination
  • Frame delamination
  • Metal weld detachment

Warranty does not cover:

  • Scratches or marks from normal use
  • Damage from misuse or mishandling
  • Frames stretched from wearing on top of the head

All warranty claims are assessed by the supplier, who has the final decision. The assessment process may take up to 30 days.

You may be required to provide images or return the product at your own expense for inspection.


Repairs

If your sunglasses are out of warranty or not covered, we can provide a repair quote.

Available repair services include:

  • Lens replacement
  • Frame replacement
  • Temple replacement
  • Frame repair
  • Screw replacement
  • Nose pad replacement

You will be required to send the item to us at your own expense. We will assess availability and provide a quote before proceeding.


Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
